Purim's Shadows (the Dark Tours the World) was created with extensive use of our Webster Chicago wire recorder, Apex AG-440 4 track 1/2" tape machine, Apex 351 whole track recorder, R.C.A. DX44 ribbon microphone, R.C.A. DX77 ribbon microphone, Sony Field Recorder, and computers, at home, and an additional live 2 microphone recording session with David Barbe (Night and Day). Engeneered by Julian with the addition of sessions engineered by David, Robert Schneider, and Drew Vandenberg.
Julian played: Magnus, orchestral banjo (banjo voiced with a violin bow), pump organ, bass, singing saws, drums, tapes, recording wire and vynal manipulations, Jaymar, bells, and sang. Robby played: euphonium, corinette, trumpet, valve trombone, and bells. Ian Ludders encouraged singing saws (including the solo on Night and Day). The 7 Foot Tall Metronome is the primary rythem on "A Lightning's Cheeks". Jill Carnes sang and played xylophone.
Korena sang and played vynal skips, metal cart, and bells, Eric Harris ran the 7ft. Tall Metronome on 3 (transition), Teague and Briana played pianolin and memphone (memo phone), David played drumes (there's no e in drums)
